Search & Retrieval Views

Fast8D provides multiple dedicated pathways to retrieve, monitor, and filter claims to match different operational expectations.

Tenant Scoping & Organization Switching

All claim data and operational views are strictly scoped by tenant:

  • If a user belongs to multiple organizations or facilities, claims remain isolated per workspace.
  • Users simply switch their active organization from the tenant switcher to access that specific workspace's data and claims.

Three Ways to Retrieve & Monitor Claims

Rather than relying on a single list with overwhelming filter parameters, Fast8D provides three distinct views tailored to specific needs:

1. User Personal Dashboard (/app/dashboard)

Designed for daily personal execution across your assignments:

  • Active Open Involvements: Aggregates all OPEN activities you are directly involved in.
  • Consolidated Workstreams: Monitor claims you lead or participate in, individual containment and corrective tasks assigned to you, and pending approvals awaiting your sign-off.

2. Tenant Focus Dashboard (/app/{tenant}/dashboard)

Directly scoped under the active tenant, this view provides full control and visibility over your tenant-specific claims:

  • Tenant Claim Control: Gives a focused operational overview of all active claims and activities within that specific organization.
  • Customizable Filtering: Isolate and organize claims based on your role (Champion, Team Member, Approver) and customizable status filters.

3. Generic Search Page (/app/{tenant}/problem-solving/search)

The primary discovery hub for ad-hoc queries, audits, and historical lookups within the tenant:

  • Instant Full-Text Search: Search across claim numbers, titles, and defect descriptions in real time.
  • Target Scoping & Facets: Switch easily between Internal, Customer, and Supplier targets, and refine results using standard filters (Champion, Partner Company, Part Number, Status, and Date Range).
